[WARDED TO JAMES] "One single white male answers to the name Louis Weasley. Intelligent, witty and good looking. Must be remotely attractive, smart and interested in a long term relationship. Free to good girlfriend. Only serious inquiries.
All jokes aside, a few months ago he really liked someone and that didn't quite work out for him. I have a hard time believing that no one in this school fancies him because he's a great guy. It doesn't make sense to me.
If you do have a secret crush on him, you should tell me. I can make the magic happen. Every girl I try to set him up with gets a boyfriend. Pretty much, I figured it might be easier to just see who might actually be interested in him.
This is your golden opportunity to date the SECOND best looking guy in sixth year." So is there something in your genetic makeup that makes your family so liable to being sold over the journals? Although I suppose you cost more. Technically. I thought you'd be amused, anyway.
So, how did stealth go? Have all your limbs still?
Also, give me five names, numbers, ways to travel, places, colours and careers.

[WARDED TO JAMES] Hi.
I have a hypothetical question for you.
If you wanted me to go away for a while, wouldn't saying so be what you'd do to convey that?

[WARDED TO JAMES] We've been dating for I wish I knew the expiration date of Lindsay Do you know how long we've I wasn't counting, and now
I know something you don't know.
Sorry, that wasn't clear. I know a great deal you don't know, as I actually enjoy school and reading, but in specific I know something that you don't know that you would very much like to know. If you knew what it was. Which you don't.

[JAMES] This ward is working. I checked.
I've been a bit busy in the hospital wing for a little and then catching up with classes. I didn't even go on the journalism shadowing. This should not affect me.
Do you get to keep the camera they gave you? For the Magic show or whatever? Since they're decamping, and all.
That was anticlimactic.

[FAILED WARD TO JAMES; PUBLIC ENTRY AND COMMENTS NOW WARDED PRIVATE BY A BRIBED THIRD YEAR. THOSE WHO COMMENTED CAN SEE THEIR OWN COMMENTS AND REPLIES SPECIFIC TO THEM.] Hi. So today my attempt at a heating charm made it really bloody cold and I couldn't manage a simple calling charm, either.
Please tell me you had a horrible day. It would make me feel better. Your suffering, and all that.
Really, though, how was your day?

Sorry for my behaviour the other day. I was out of line.
[WARDED TO GEN] Sorry for adding to the commotion. Need anything?
I'll be good. Or try to, I mean. [/WARD]
[WARDED TO JAMES]Before you ask, my dad was disappointed in me and I hate it.
You might not be, though. [/WARD]
[WARDED TO ANNIE]Hey, want to study together or something? Or do you have plans? [/WARD]

Fuck. It's October.
Before I forget: Annie, save me a dance? Since that seems to be a popular topic. The dance, I mean, not asking people to save them.
[Private Ward to Annie, Corrie, Gen and Maeve] So it's October.
What would I have no idea what to
I don't know what to get James. This is so For his birthday.
Please help now, I can't sleep.

If you are not one of maybe four people and you even attempt to hug me, I'm going to have to hurt you.
Just so you know.
But go and have fun hugging everyone else, whatever.
This is ridiculous.

Not that it matters.
Who's signing up for this documentary, anyway? Curiosity requires I ask.

Well aware that reading at the table is frowned upon in general. Don't really care.
What is with the influx of annoying ghosts?

I hate that fucking marching band.
I'm warding our dorm against sound as of right now. I'll take it down whenever that stops. I am not getting up that early ever again.
What do they have against sleep?
At least it was a Saturday. If it were a class day I would have had to kill someone. I don't know who, since the culprits are dead, but someone.

I think the muggle liason program is a bad idea. It's bad enough having to go between both worlds when you can use magic and therefore fully integrate into either, although you don't ever, not really. How can anyone expect
Never mind.
I am going to spend tomorrow in the library. If you're someone I like, feel free to suggest another activity. You should probably know by now if you're someone I like.

Finished packing. Made lasagna which may or may not feed Dad tomorrow.
I don't think I'm forgetting anything.
It's incredibly weird to think that this time next year I won't be packing for anything.

Groceries. My favourite word ever, as of right now. Of course, we probably will put off getting them again to the point that I have this same exact experience in the near future, but what else is new?
I haven't found a book specifically about a character whom breaks a ridiculous number of mirrors, but I've found several books on superstitions. And the "cures" for each one.
This only makes me worry further about what people are given to believe. Most of them are common sense. Or would be, when you stare at them. "A dog howling at night when someone in the house is sick is a bad omen." No, really. Sick people usually need to, I don't know, sleep. Walking under ladders is just a bad idea because of whomever's on the ladder, and seeing a cat cross your path? I suppose there's some chance of tripping.
"A loaf of bread should never be turned upside down after a slice has been cut from it." I have no idea about that one, though.
Dad can't think of anything off the top of his head, either. Somehow this gives us a reason to spend even more time in the shop. Not that we needed one.

New stock.
We're never going to get it on the shelves at this rate. Sometimes I doubt that running a bookshop is the best vocation for either myself or my father. But then again, I don't really want to do much else. And I can't picture dad doing anything else.
And this way we get to read the things we get in?
Whatever. Annie, we're doing the show thing tomorrow? It's Thursday.
I should probably go to sleep, but I'm not really tired.

Okay. So, I knew going into it that it would be completely idotic, but seriously? Seriously? Why, why was the washing machine their first instinct? And the playboy fiasco?
Oh, and I'm sort of amazed that the Chandlers let the two behind a wheel, at that point in time. It seemed like a really bad idea by then. To us, I guess.
I'm not certain those two have any sense, common or otherwise. Actually, I'm pretty certain they don't.
And now I want the next episode to be on. Annie, can I come over to watch it when it airs?
My only actual problem with it, beyond the idiocy, would be the memory modifications. Those people, weird as they were, could have been my grandparents. Or my neighbors. Or anyone. Saying it was just a little thing doesn't change what it was.
It's normal, though, isn't it? Or it is for everyone else, I suppose, who isn't muggleborn, or nearly that.

That settles that. I was beginning to think things were a bit too quiet. How many days did we go without something happening this time?
Did anyone else get angry rambles from portraits whose frames were blocked by trees?
I think Peeves is enjoying it, though. Or I misheard his song of the day.
[James]
How?
